Scales of Justice

University of Arizona Daily Wildcat (Current Edition and Archives)

College of William and Mary, Journal of On-Line Law
You can subscribe to the journal for free and have issues delivered right to your e-mail in ascii format. Good Internet articles! E-mail subscriptions - You can have a plain ASCII version of JOL sent directly to your e-mail address. Subscriptions are handled by a "listserv" distribution list. The e-mail address for subscription requests is: listserv@listserv.cc.wm.edu. To receive ASCII text, put this in the body of your message: subscribe JOL Marion Smith where you replace "Marion Smith" with your own name.

University of Southern California
A collection of law materials of all topics. Check out their law journal and law review link - very extensive collection, though some are broken. Also, good collection of links to other on-line legal resources of all topics.

Freedom Forum First Amendment Center
This site is a link from the Freedom Forum main site.  There are very good selections to be read regarding a host of First Amendment issues.

'Lectric Law Library
A very diverse collection of material ranging from cases and statutes to practice and business forms. There is Internet law-relevant material here as well. The practice forms add a nice touch, although many of them are for California or Federal courts. If you go from the "Rotunda" area of this site to the "Lawyer's Lounge" area, you will find links to Internet-relevant articles which include a nice array of international publications. You can also search the site using its 'LECTRIC LAW LOOKER-UPPER.' The Web Master of this site claims to be a lawyer, but the humor littered throughout the pages of this site is too funny. Seriously, take the time to read the information Ralf presents including his humor section, "The Rubber Room." The diversion will lighten your mood while you research.

Kuester Law
This website is a very comprehensive resource on the Internet for information related to Technology Law.  This site is very easy to use and even contains links directly into USENET newsgroups covering intellectual property.
Cornell Law School
Cornell's site is like the grand-daddy of law school Internet resource sites. It is laden with searchable libraries and an array of links. Of interest to all practitioners is its collection of New York Court of Appeals decisions.

University of Buffalo Computers and The Law
This is a cutting edge site which features computer law articles written by Buffalo law students. The collection is large and offers many interesting subjects. There are also links to other sites for research, etc. Definitely bookmark this site!

University of Florida Journal of Technology Law and Policy
This is a great Internet-specific site containing full text of well-written  Internet-relevant articles. Check out their links as well. Definitely bookmark this site too!

Journal of Information Law and Technology
This site is devoted to scholarly pursuits of Internet and technology law. There is an open invitation for article submission and a procedure for on-line peer review. All articles are made available on-line. This site is definitely worth a look and contains information you might not find elsewhere.

C/Net
This is the companion site to the cable television show C/Net, which is a regular feature on the Sci-Fi Channel. If it is Internet news, it is here. I don't think there are many better resources. Also, C/Net offers links to software and offers software tips.

Emory University
Many law schools have taken it upon themselves to be the public disseminators of case law in their given Circuit. Check out Emory's "Law Links," which will take you to any Federal Circuit and the Supreme Court via intra-circuit law school web site links. From here, you can search actual full-text cases. Many of these databases do not go back very far in time, so don't expect too much. I would expect that the operators of these sites are working on a retroactive database to compliment their new additions.

The Copyright WebSite
This site is very interesting. (It doesn't hurt that the creator is a Frank Herbert fan either). This site explores copyright from creation to lapse into public domain. Featured are contemporary examples of infringement and fair use, copyright basics, and a forum on copyright on the Internet. There are links to other resources, and a discussion of an implied license theory for material on the Internet.
